If you can afford to help Luna County students with some back to school supplies today at Walmart the Deming Fire Department will be on hand helping collect school supplies. Luna County is the poorest county in New Mexico and the need for some families is very real. I grew up poor, my parents did they could to give us a good life. I know the feeling of going back to school without anything, I remember even today and it brings tears to me eyes. I work hard so my children will never ever will know this feeling, but there kids out there who do, so if you can, please go and buy some notebooks their .25 and maybe a new backpack for a child. To them it will mean the world, I promise you that :) Robert and I went at lunch and bought some items for the back to school drive. The joy you get in your heart, money cannot buy
