If you can, go to the website and donate. Ive been creating events where people can get drawings, t-shirts, or just pitch in; I thought them up on the fly so I didnt have the time to give it big media fire power (lessons for the future, though). To be candid, Im just exhausted with putting the gas money into driving to Rome to sit by myself. But if we DID make the Final Four at DeSoto with your help, it would be an awesome moment for the under dog! I announced I was going to draw at Mt. Berry Square but I might as well donate the gas money. I was told our pics were going up on The Ridge website today announcing todays event, and since I dont have a lot of local resources and havent personally begged friends and family abroad, such promotions our only hope! But, theres always the future. If no one else can manage a donation to Cancer Navigators today (or by PayPal before midnight) in our bands name, at least consider them for any future charitable giving. My Dad actually died of pulmonary fibrosis, so theres no organizational effort to help people with that problem, though the suffering is every bit as great, so I understand how hard these illnesses are on the family. Up to this week I really enjoyed thinking these things up and hearing our music on the radio, and we DO have an authors signing day at Dogwood Aug. 16th and a fashion show with Angelas Marc Kane Fashion Bags hosted by Imagine Aug. 22nd, so well keep on trying to spread the arts and make a living.
