If you ever come across a shark, dont shy away from cooking it. It is so simple to cook and tastes so good! Sharing my simplest 40 minute grilled shark recipe with you that I tried day before yesterday. Shark fillet has to be soaked in milk for at least 20 minutes to remove any possible presence of ammonia ( 2 hours is best as it adds a milky flavor but not at all mandatory). Drain the milk, pat dry the fillet and then marinate in lime juice and little bit of Dijon Mustard ( not mandatory) for 5 minutes. In the meantime, heat the broiler to medium low ( 250 degree). Then sprinkle salt and freshly crushed black pepper on both sides. Rub vegetable oil on the bottom ( the cut side that will face the grill) and place them on the grill. cover it for 2 minutes and sprinkle oil on top before flipping it. Let it grill for 5 more minutes. Turn of the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes. In the meantime, boil some broccoli, make a coleslaw or any side that you like. You can also put the seasoned shark fillets in a casserole dish with caramelized onion and apples and bake it for 15 minutes. Bon Appetit!
