If you ever feel too unworthy of the blood, sing this old hymn - TopicsExpress

If you ever feel too unworthy of the blood, sing this old hymn written by William Cowper in 1772. After several attempts to take his own life, and living in guilt and condemnation, God gave him these ageless lyrics.... There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains. “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness." - Zechariah 13: 1
