If you have LOST or changed your job, or have lost your insurance - TopicsExpress

If you have LOST or changed your job, or have lost your insurance coverage that you previously had, you MAY be eligible to get coverage in the ACA marketplace (if your income for the year remains between 100-400% of poverty level). If you were previously unemployed or under-employed earlier this year so that you fell into the Medicaid-expansion GAP, but now you have a BETTER PAYING JOB that puts your annual income ABOVE poverty level, you should be able to enroll in the ACA Marketplace, even though it is mid-year, because of the special enrollment periods. Dont forget - adding a new family member (wife, child) or losing one (divorce, death) are reasons to re-contact ACA about your insurance plan. If you have had a recent change in your personal circumstances that MIGHT make you eligible to enroll in the Federal ACA Marketplace, the deadline to enroll so that coverage starts July 1st, is by midnight June 15th. The NEXT deadline (for insurance to start Aug 1st) is July 15th. For more information, check the ACA website or CALL them at 800-318-2596!! But act QUICKLY!! https://healthcare.gov/
