If you have been wondering whether Comcast could literally be run by morons, the answer is yes. After years of maddening frustration with a Comcast internet signal that connected randomly, would be on for an hour then spend hours dropping off every few seconds then work, then not, the solution appeared in the form of the fifth or sixth Comcast technician to come here. After talking to guys who were sure there was something wrong with the router no matter how often or recently I bought new ones, of talking to guys who could never find where the wire entered the house, and other retards employed by Comcast, today they sent Brian. Brian poked around and found that the connection had been installed by the walking dead. Someone had connected the grounding wire to something called a grounding block, but had not known to ground the grounding block. All this time what had determined whether there was a signal or not was some combination of the wind and the temperature, which is why it had worked marginally better during the day. One must assume that someone with that tenuous a grasp of how electric circuits work yet who works with them all day will sooner or later be forcibly and deservedly ejected from the gene pool by the joint action of Mssrs. Volta, Ampere, and Watt. After seeming eons of endless screaming helplessness, we finally have a stable signal.
