My father who was in both U.S. Navy at end of WWII. And then in the U S Army during the Korean War. ( he never wanted to be recognized because he never served in battle, but he gave up those years of his life to the military. My Grandaddy Brown served in Europe during WWI. My uncle Royce was in the Navy. My mothers family had several veterans. I was raised in a family and a community that instilled and expected patriotism in all of us. We have lost that in many today. Lets remember the true heroes not just today but every day!
