If you have the ability to video a seizure, always, ALWAYS do it. This has been a hard concept for me because I mistakenly think I need to comfort him with my touch which really can trigger a generalizing of a complex partial seizure. But I just showed this video to his neurologist and he saw something in this that he hadnt known about before and has ordered video EEG. The blinking eyes, the direction the head turns the direction the eyes turn, all of this information assists the neurologist and he cant really get from your written or verbal accounting. So whenever possible pull out that camera phone and record!!
