If you havent seen the first episode that just aired last night, DVR it. Its awesome, I was sure it was gonna be bad-ass cause Sound City was really cool, but if they do 8 more episodes and capture 8 more cities like they captured Chicago in the first episode, they might just top Sound City...Dave Grohl has really fallen into this creative groove that seems new to him and he seems to be just taking the leap and seeing what he can do with it and pushing the boundry, and I admire that quality in anybody, especially musicians. The cats that arent afraid to get burned every now again by reaching for something out of their comfort zone and really reach for new creative ground are the ones that seem to be present when the iron is hot and something really magical usually happens...I try to live like that and this first show just pushed me even more to be the most you you can be, and thats often an overlooked virtue. I strongly suggested everybody to watch this 8 episode series on HBO...its inspiring, historical, and cool.
