If you havent seen this, pretty important stuff -- from a 10 year old girls science project. Take a sweet potato, put it in water for a month, and nothing grows. Take an organic one, and within a couple weeks, its sprouting. Take one grown by a friend in his garden, put in water and inside a week its taken off like crazy. Moral of the story: chemically grown (aka conventional) food is sprayed with a chemical called bud not. It prevents the plants life force from expressing itself and growing. You cant wash it out of the plant. Why would we eat food like this? You can skip ahead in the video to see the various samples. Hm, wonder why Monsanto doesnt do this experiment too...
