If you know of anyone, please have them send their CVs to chieyu@gmail Social Media Specialist Emphasis: Social Media | Blogger Engagement Primary Function The Social Media Specialist supports the corporate brand and consumer brand’s marketing efforts with primary responsibility for the growth and management of social media platforms and digital initiatives resulting in robust online presence for the organization and high engagement levels with target audiences. Primary Responsibilities For our online community, the Social Media Specialist (SMS) helps carry forward the corporate brand and consumer brand’s mission through the execution of digital marketing strategies/social media initiatives that both reflect and promote the goals of the company. The SMS is responsible for managing and implementing integrated digital marketing strategies to support SKY brands, with particular focus on driving growth for SKY’s social media ecosystem. Strategy and Planning · In alignment with strategic objectives, develop and manage new social media systems for corporate brand and consumer brands · Lead in the development of an overall strategy and protocol for managing online relationships (e.g. local blogging community, online influencers, media and PR) · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media space. The SMS will own the strategy and the execution of ideas. · Lead the deployment of technology tools that advance our social media goals · Shall assist in the development and planning of SKY’s Digital Marketing ecosystem: website, search, email, social media, mobile · Shall assist in developing and documenting best practices/guidelines for staff users/content contributors (e.g. for blogging) · Ensure that the corporate brand is integrated/properly placed within social media/digital marketing strategies Execution, Management, and Tracking · Grow corporate brand and consumer brands’ online community/presence and engage target audiences via relevant social media programs, customer education, and digital advertising to expand SKY’s marketing strategies · Responsible for developing content across owned and earned social channels. This includes blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos, and videos. · Create, manage, and grow business presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube/ · Support business and editorial goals by scheduling communications to drive fan and followers interactions (quizzes, contests, surveys, etc.) · Coordinate with and manage output of digital agencies and suppliers · Oversee functionality of the SKY digital platforms including overseeing content management systems on a day-to-day basis, ensuring content is updated as needed and keeping within brand, messaging, and legal guidelines · Leverage measurement tools to provide progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives. Research · Stay on top of social media trends and web technologies; research emerging social media and web tools/trends · Research new channels and assist in developing plans that will maximize our online presence, driving web traffic and dramatically increasing monthly unique visitors as well as interactions with online community Qualifications/Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years experience in digital marketing campaign management, digital agency management, web analytics preferred 1-3 years of successful digital experience at an interactive, communications, public relations, and/or marketing agency Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives Real-world experience planning social media programs that span owned (ie Blogs), earned (ie Facebook) and paid (sponsored tweets) Knowledge of Digital Marketing current best practices and understanding of Digital production processes Knowledge of strategic planning and processes for brand management and creative development, including research tools and evaluation of results, especially as related to 360 Integrated Communication Planning Knowledge of media strategy and planning options and the media role in integrated communication Strong negotiation skills as both a strategic advisor and direct negotiator for a broad variety of interactive skills Ability to translate key messages into conversational messages for consumers Desire to interact with others and ability to work as part of a cross-functional team Flexibility and tolerance with scheduling demands and overlapping deadlines Able to make test and learn decisions about digital marketing with measurable ROI, and to make effective decisions about how to improve results quickly. Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts in order to quickly gain alignment from and simultaneously influence product/brand managers and customers alike. Must thrive in fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision. Highly detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Actively engages in Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube and is well-versed in the drivers, motivators, and program nuances of these platforms. Must be a strong multi-tasker who is able to deal with unexpected problems calmly and effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Insights and other Social Analytics
