If you know this project located precisely at Okigwe road roundabout then you will agree with me that it stopped working 3months after it was constructed. Our findings last weekend revealed that this very project was executed with 200million. This is including the small relaxation spot with it which is hardly used. We also discovered that the contractor who built this water falls as it is called, also built the ring road roundabout water fountain in Benin city 4years ago with less than 150million. While the water falls in Owerri is spoilt, the ring road roundabout water fountain still works in Benin. Why do we have inferior projects in Imo even with higher amounts and have you heared how much was spent on building the ICC which now has a roof leakage as a result of carelessness on the side of the contractor? Whose Job is it to really monitor projects in Imo. This is terrible.
