If you must go to court please heed this advice: When you go to court, dress like the most professional, serious, neat and sane person on Earth. Choose a clean, pressed and well cut outfit to appear in. Have a haircut and shave (if relevant). Tone down the makeup (if relevant) and dont overdo decoration such as jewelry. If its your thing, wear a suit (a tie for men). Wear a suit, even if you hate wearing suits. Just do it. Appearances do matter, especially to juries. Yes, people are shallow enough to lock you up for years because they dont like your T-Shirt. YOUR APPEARANCE DOES MATTER!
