If you really look at it, if you REALLY get down to it the truth of this place and human choice is pretty appalling. So many people choose to deceive and distract themselves. I choose not to be cynical towards unknowns but I definitely see the knowns for what they truly are. If you havent noticed everything is designed for corruption, the very nature of this system is corruption because anything other than community altruism is antisocial, selfish and immoral. The more I look at the more obvious it becomes not only the failures of the human race to be good, but that the pressures and coercion and extortion that this system enforces isnt just a flawed design, its an element of the story. Inevitable unavoidable pitfalls into guild and character definition. Stage theory or the idea that the world is a stage makes perfect sense in this context... Denial to remove conflict by making the world great because everyone who knows story telling knows, you have to have conflict to have a story. Im not sure what the world really is, whether its a hologram along with the universe, or a farm for some higher beings who somehow profit from our toil, or perhaps a place of dreams... And nightmares... Or a stage for entertainment like cosmic reality TV. Whatever the case, truth is always stranger than fiction.
