If you think of yourself as being on a restrictive diet, you are more likely just to put yourself under undue stress which will later cause a cortisol overload and potentially lead to fat gain. If you think instead that you are eating healthy for life, you won’t be too stressed about it. Okay, assuming it actually is healthy. Because if it is too restrictive, you just might stress your body out regardless of how you frame it in your head.
