If you truly believe God loves his people, you will love his people as well. If you truly believe God was willing to pay a great price in order to be with his people, you will sacrifice your time, energy, and money to be with his people as well. In other words, you will be a participating member of a local church. This is why church membership, living in community with one another even if the people are goobers and even though it requires a sacrifice from you, is mandatory rather than optional for the Christian faith.
