If you want to hang out with me, grab a tea or a glass of wine or get a bite to eat and you cant tell your partner that youre out with me then we are not friends; then clearly I am not your friend and you have an ulterior motive, even if you say you dont. Because if you didnt then you would be able to tell your partner. If you cant be honest with your partner, especially about me, the least of your problems, then I highly suggest taking a deeper consideration of the person you are with. I have heard the most ridiculous excuses: Shes too jealous. I dont have to tell her about all of my friends. She would freak out. She wouldnt understand. Hmmmm...great catch youve got there. Loads of trust and understanding there. If someone has 21 questions for you and youre not doing anything with malintent then you should have no problem answering them. I have had to unfriend, if you will, people that have tried to make me their secret friend even though it was completely platonic on my end and in my mind which I thought the same for them. I am not a secret friend nor will I partake in someones lies to someone else, especially their loved one. If someone is going to lie about something like that then what else are they going to lie to you about or omit information on? Also, if you are the type of person that doesnt allow your partner visit with friends because of your green eyes then its time to search within because its not them, its you.
