If you would please take two minutes, I would like to say - TopicsExpress

If you would please take two minutes, I would like to say something about my proudest accomplishment. It is very important to me. Several years ago, I decided that creating performance pieces, writing, and attempting other artistic ventures was fine, but those things simply werent enough for me. I wanted to do something real. I wanted to do something to truly improve the lives of others. I honestly wanted to bring joy to as many people as I could. That’s what I imagined, and I figured out a way to actually do it; and every person on the planet could participate without ever having to leave their own home. All they needed to do was tell one or two close friends that they are important to them. Or, they could rebuild a relationship that had fallen away. Or, they could extend their hand to someone in need. In short, to participate, folks simply have to communicate—in their own way—with people in their lives. And that’s how Beyond Imagination Day was born. Over the past few years, thousands of lives have been touched. As the creator and founder of BID, I have received many thankful messages from folks that have rekindled relationships that they thought were gone forever. Each tale has found its own special place in my heart. Well, this year, Facebook (one of the main ways of getting BID out to people) has restricted my invitations to only 500 friends. So, I am asking you to join us, and to please invite the folks in your life to join us too. I didnt include the link to the event in this post because I fear that too many people have seen it before, and so they ignore it. I am asking you—as my friend—to not ignore Beyond Imagination Day. Please join us. But don’t participate for me. Do it for the important people in your life. And, do it for yourself. It’s easy, if you try. (Please Note: To make it really easy for you, I will post the link to the event in the comments below.)
