If your a teenager, or go to my school. Or anyone for that matter. It would be nice if you could listen up for a second. Tomorrow, Wednesday April 2nd. Is work autism awareness day. Now Im not going to get into a huge son story about my little brothers having autism because most of you already knew that. But that doesnt mean that this day isnt important to me. Autism is not just a rare thing that people dont have to worry about. Autism now effects 1 in 68 people. That to me is terrifying. At school or in public when I hear someone that I know has autism crying or sobbing loudly. My peers laugh. This makes me feel sick to my stomach because these kids dont have anybody to understand them and they dont have much sympathy from us. They deserve respect. They are not stupid vegetables that dont understand. Albert Einstein had asbergers syndrome and he was one of the most brilliant geniuses of our time. From now own. DONT say Retard. Even if you dont mean it in a harsh way. Because you may not know it. But what if that boy who cant talk is actually smarter then you and he knows what that word means. How do you think he feels when you say that word. I think people with autism are the best people out there. And they deserve much more respect and understanding from us. Please guys. Lets just try to not only think of ourselves but think of everyone else with a disability that is around you. Spread the word. April 2nd. Autism awareness day!
