If your stuffs are delayed by someone else, especially whom you paid for, what would you like to be treated? I am very confident that your answer will be totally different from what I have experienced from your airlines. I have been travelled to many countries with many airlines, both coach and business classes. I might say that this is the worst experience. We all know that air-fare ticket is expensive. Therefore, I expect punctual, reliable, and professional service from every airlines. However, I was extremely disappointed with your service and responses. I travelled from JFK to BKK. When my flight QR828 arrived BKK on Aug 31 (noon), I found that on of my baggages was not on luggage belt. I came to the officer and I was informed that my baggage was delayed and would be arrived with QR823 at 7 pm on the same day. I continued to check flight status online and call to Qatar myself (no one cared to feedback) and was informed to wait. Around 8 PM, I received the call telling me that baggage was not with this flight. When I asked where it was, no one can give me the satisfied answer. The officer cannot locate my baggage. The only thing I received is to wait which I think it is unbearable response. Secondly, I asked the officer about compensation for delayed luggage. The officer informed me that I cannot claim anything for this delay since I am Thai resident. Being a Thai resident does not mean that I should accept your delay at no cost. I might not need to spend money for the hotel. However, I spent time and money on calling and following up my luggage myself. Also, there were opportunity costs for what I should utilize from my belongings in the luggage. I wonder why airlines treat differently while we all pay at the same amount. If I receive it timely (which it should definitely be), I should have time to rest from around -the-clock flight and be ready to work tomorrow. I would like to ask for appropriate and reasonable follow-up and compensation for this delayed luggage. Until now, I cannot locate my luggage and I am very anxious about it.
