If youre like me and put lunges close to the end of a leg day, you know how unstable and shaky leg you can get even with the lightest weight. Take this opportunity to really over emphasize form as well as gett creative with rep count and execution. Because of the fatigue you feel youre better off taking a much farther step than youre used to. Most folks forget how tired the leg is and a normal step ends up being shorter which puts a lot of stress on the patella. Always make sure the eye line of your knee cap is never going past the tip of your toes. If you want to add a bit more difficult try pausing at the bottom of the rep and explode on the push back to start position making sure the lead leg doesnt touch the floor till youre upright again .
