If youre still undecided by this point, youre probably pretty worn - TopicsExpress

If youre still undecided by this point, youre probably pretty worn out by attempts of folk to try and persuade you and push you into voting for whatever they think is right. Im not going to pretend Im neutral - Im voting yes, but I want to emphasise that it is your vote and your vote alone. My dad is English and I was born in Scotland - resulting in growing up in a household that felt very British. When England play, I want them to do well (Ill regret making that public). This may sound irrelevant and lacking in any true meaning - but it is to illustrate that a Yes vote is not born from an irrational rush of patriotism. It is not a hatred or dislike of the English. It is also to illustrate that your default position, the feeling of the home you grew up in or the positions of your family members should not dictate or mould the way you think and vote. I was born and raised in an environment that made me feel attached to the sentiment of Britain and of togetherness. My default position reflected this and was initially that of a No vote. Mainstream media such as the BBC and the vast majority of national newspapers will have you believe that the Yes campaign is born from such hatred and aggression. Do not let them insult your intelligence. Think freely and base your choices on independent thought. I wont burden you with the full extent of my opinion, but if youre interested in some hard numbers and figures on the economy, have a quick look at the video Ive linked below. It is not from the Yes or No campaign - it is a neutral look at the economic facts. Make up your own mind. Politics is a platform for people to initiate social change for the better. This is, realistically, the only chance we have to do this on a wide scale. Vote out of good intentions and positivity. https://youtube/watch?v=1W8cKHcZn60
