If youve ever wanted to experience the thrill of racing on two wheels, but never had the chance or simply lacked the guts, this is about as close as you can get to the real deal. The footage was taken at last years Isle of Man Supersport TT and shows the view from the helmet of Northern Irelands Michael Dunlop. Put simply, its a hell ride. The event has claimed the lives of 239 racers over its 107 year history and is considered one of the scariest races in the world. Riders fly around public roads for 360 kilometres, battering their bodies as they continuously twist and turn on a 60 kilometre circuit and stop only twice to refuel and change tyres. Incredibly, they average speeds in excess of 200km/h. Appreciating just how fast these guys go has virtually been impossible, until now. Just take a look at the video.
