If youve had the opportunity to travel to Italy you likely have - TopicsExpress

If youve had the opportunity to travel to Italy you likely have encountered the flavor Fior Di Latte. In the states it is often mistaken as Vanilla gelato probably because it is light in color. Fior Di Latte gelato is made with just the right amount of milk, cream and sugar, no eggs, no vanilla or any other ingredients. The point is to highlight the flavor and sweetness of the milk. And if you are fortunate enough to source your milk from local organic grass fed, fresh Jersey cows milk then the result is heaven. This week try our Fior Di Latte (which incidently means Flower of Milk in Italian) Gelato with just a hint of Pomegranate Molasses at the Surf Market along with our other flavors - California Toasted Almond, Mixed Berry Sorbetto and of course our Dark Chocalate and Vanilla Madagascar with Mascarpone. Buon appetito!
