Igor Girkin, Russian terrorist known as ‘Strilok’ (‘Shooter’ ) ordered to detain Vyacheslav Ponomarev, so-called peoples Mayor of Sloviansk – Info Resist – May 22, 2014 In accordance with operative information, Ponomarev was detained. The reason for detention of Ponomarev is his close ties with local criminals. This resulted in the aggravation of the internal conflict and struggle among separatists themselves - as was mentioned by Donetsk law-enforcement officers. As was previously reported, the militants of so-called ‘People’s Republic of Donetsk’ (DNR) started to destroy local criminal leaders who refuse to finance separatists.
