Ill equipped intellectually to legislate with comprehension and wisdom and to engender beneficial guidelines that would be positive, proactive and ensure our collective well being. People lacking these qualities (and yet who have legislative power) can do irreparable damage and even endanger lives and countries by their ignorance of existing science. Gives our country an aura of backwardness rather than forward and progressive thinking and leadership Makes you want to cringe and hang your head in embarrassment!
