Ill tell you what I hate about college. I already sucked at making friends but its just worse at the university. I cant tell you how many times Ive been sitting around campus and some stranger for some reason begins speaking to me, and we get into a good conversation. We trade numbers, possibly Facebooks, and then they never want to talk to me again. That, or I end up making friends with someone in one of my classes and get to see/speak to them every other day, maybe even meet up for study sessions. I start thinking Ive finally made a real friend—that is until the semester is over and they too have no desire to speak with me ever again. And dont even get me started on guys who put on a really convincing friendly act until the boyfriend fact is mentioned. As if thats anything new. Many thanks to the people who didnt ditch me over the years. I appreciate it.
