Im 36, and have led a somewhat wild child lifestyle, not realising the recipe for destruction I was living with. About ten years ago I got a very odd viral thing called Erytrema Nodosun, a virus which attacks your legs basically, but also gives you severe flu symptoms and chronic pain. It passed within 3 months, but I believe it was the start of the GH hitting me. I then started with the stomach problems, insomnia, low moods and a tendency to get irrational and have mood swings. Thankfully its now been diagnosed, my levels are somewhat high- ferritin at 4467 TSATs at 78% and ALT of 54. Ive had everything from a colonoscopy to a recent liver biopsy, and finally start my treatment this month. I dont know what the future holds, but Im being positive.
