Im Complaining This Once And Then Im Going To Leave It At That Pay? What Pay! If we get $10 a week for doing what we are doing here, then we would be very lucky That is how covetous and selfish we are as a Church when it comes to barefoot evangelism! One sure evidence that a Church has truly left her first love is that the Church has little or no money put aside for soul winning! Our ministers and Church officers seem to make it a habit to whine and gripe about the budget whenever it comes to evangelism, in the last ten years or so. If our ministers were converted themselves and were feeding the flock the present truth then I doubt they would have any such lack whatsoever but that is another story altogether. But modern ministers want to us produce more tithe payers not souls, but they are not even willing to make the investment. That is beyond cheap, for real! The Church has money for Pathfinders, Banquets, Fashion Shows, Retreats, For hired musicians, Praise teams, Bus outings, Cruises, for traveling overseas, for new pews, for hired evangelists, for flyers, for radio and tv advertisements, for rentals,.... and for any and everything but not for us, foot soldiers who do the front line and evangelistic ground work, i.e. the Bible Workers/Instructors not to mention medical missionaries. WE OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF OURSELVES FOR THIS! Our motive for being Christs witnesses is never money. And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. Luke 10:7 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. 1 Tim 5:18 But according to the Conference and the Church, we are not worthy... A Church should never be proud of getting free labor if they are unavailable or unwilling to do the work themselves! Good night!
