Im SO THRILLED with Muffins (formerly my foster Graycie) parents and new home. They send me weekly, if not daily pictures and just little notes on whats shes doing. Heres what she did this weekend-a five mile hike with her parents! What a GREAT life she is living. The other day she hiked a NINE mile hike with one of her moms... who is 74 years old!! Im so impressed! Heres a couple words from them also: Muffin is a real trooper of a hiker - leading the way and able to leave the two of us in her dust. She leaps over streams, or hops on the rocks to cross. And all the while she is wagging and laughing and very pleased with herself. People we meet on the trail cannot help themselves from stopping and wanting to pet Muffin because she is so cute. We hiked about 8 1/2 miles today on the PRATT LAKE trail near Snoqualmie Pass - took us about 4 1/4 hours not counting our lunch stop. Last nite we gave her a 3 inch marrow bone to work on - which she loved.
