Im THANKFUL for Jeff Wilkinson, Ashley Wilkinson, Alex Wilkinson, Conner Wilkinson & Nathan Wilkinson for helping me get through my past two elbow surgeries. I know how difficult it was to drive me everywhere and do all the mom jobs every day. Also I really need to appreciate my Ward family and friends for all the dinners, snacks, cookies, breads, eclairs, banana bread, driving me to physical therapy and back, and never knowing how long I would be there for. Im so GRATEFUL for all your love, people putting my name in the Temple and most of all, your PRAYERS! Only ten days after my second elbow surgery, I was standing on a night stand hanging a letter on Nates wall and Conner ran in the room telling me the stand was wobbly and to get off, as he was running to push the night stand back against the wall I jumped with my leg straight, landed, twisted, then slowly making it down to the floor. My knee swelled up and I couldnt walk so I didnt move around a lot. Saw my doctor 2 1/2 weeks later and we both decided to add physical therapy, for my knee, thinking that I might have torn my meniscus. (I truly wasnt ready for any other diagnosis.) A month went by, then 6 more weeks. I decided its time for a MRI but unfortunately I found out I completely tore my ACL. I couldnt believe it and held in my tears. Tomorrow I will have my tendon removed from the back of my thigh and then out comes the power tools!!! I dont really like physical therapy. :(
