Im a big fan of Uber and other ride-sharing services in Chicago and other cities, if you didnt already know. HB 4075 is complete and utter joke and does nothing to protect consumers as it supposes. Its a ploy to regulate transportation services and effectively puts services like Uber and Lyft out of business by limiting the amount of drivers they can put on the road, requiring part-time drivers to get a chauffeurs license, and driving up their operating costs. Sign the petition to tell the cab unions and transportation monopolies to shove it and keep your transportation options open.
