Sunshine from the sun is made up of relatively short Wave lenght radiation, with about ten percentages being ultraviolet light, about 40% being visible and approximately 50% being short Wave lenght near infrared waves. This radiation is absorbed by the Objects of the earth or inside the Greenery House. In the forcing house, the glass bounces the long Wave lenght IR back down. This trapped long wave length IR is absorbed by objects, which gives rise to further heating, and the cycle keeps on. As a consequence, the Glasshouse acts as Solar collectors.
