Im actually really disappointed at the reaction and attitude of people. This is an opportunity that may never be repeated in this country. We are trying to reach as many people as possible by taking it to 4 cities instead of the usual 2. We do realise it will be something not everyone can afford. We realise that the Gold and Silver tickets are a luxury item that will not be within everyones price range. However, we are still giving people the chance, within the $100-$150 price range, to spend a couple of hours watching some of their favorite actors on stage in person. Yes, you may not be able to get a photo and autograph with them if you can only afford this option. But as it stands with the amount of people who are interested in coming, had we made all tickets this low price with autos and photos as an option, then we would only face complaints on the day when we had sold out that it was not fair that some people missed out. We certainly cannot cater the the dozens of different things people seem to want. Just photos or just autos in whatever combinations. It was a grouped package like this to be able to get through the highest number of people or nothing at all. We gave people a heads up so as to give them time to prepare for the cost of tickets when usually as an event is announced tickets are on sale straight away. Apparently some people over estimated and some under estimated. This seems to have added to either their disappointment or excitement. I know you have all heard it before but I feel it needs to be said again. These actors do not come for free. Their travel arrangements, venues, photos for signing, ticket sales, photographers and staff travel all add to the cost of putting these events on. If the way that the event is set out cannot make back the money it costs to put on in the first place, then the event will not go ahead. As Im sure some of you have been witness to in the past. I know the ticket options do not please everybody. And the people who are displeased seem to always be the most vocal. I know there are a lot of you who are more than happy with this opportunity even if you can only afford a day ticket to watch Matt, Karen and Arthur on stage with each other. We cant please everybody. Fact. You cannot tailor an event to the specific wants of hundreds of people. If this is something you are willing to sacrifice other luxuries to be able to afford, then great. If you cant justify the costs for whatever reason, unfortunate yes, but does not mean you should be angry at us for the cost. We are simply providing you with the opportunity.
