Im always behind the times by ... hmm... about ten years. I started watching Firefly the Fox series from the early 2000s. Joss Whedon produced and wrote the show. After a little bit of a slow start, I have to say, its absolutely brilliant. I can hear the echoes of my favorite shows and films, from Star Trek to The Outlaw Josie Wales. It is so brilliant it is no surprise it did not survive more than two seasons on television.
