Im cleaning house (for my Domestic Professional, whos coming later) and I found a letter from my mom in one of my ADD piles. Its from my freshman year of college, I think. I wont type the whole thing out, but heres my favorite part: Ive been worried about you so Im sending you some money. I dont want you to be just completely broke (only partially broke would be fine!) No, really, I love you and I appreciate your working to make money for the things you need. It really helps out a lot. I wish we were rich so youd never have to worry about it, but were not (does that come as a big shock to you? Sorry I had to break it to you this way!) The note made me laugh, cry and miss my mom all over again. I love it when she just randomly inserts herself into my day -- and I hope Im just a shade as funny as she was. Miss you, mama.
