Im contemplating how to skillfully unite concern for individual mental health issues (and how they are taken seriously by institutions like schools) and a larger critique about what makes us ill in the first place. I think labeling ourselves as all having biological disorders without social/politics/economic contexts is a dead end for organizing, but we cant write off this perspective of the person in this article because there are so many people thinking like this. I feel like some really good writing has been done around this but I cant remember where to look.
