Im crossing my fingers and hoping I dont screw this up! This Monday and Tuesday I am running the first Kiteboarding retreat for our 501(c)3 non-profit: Wind Sports for Wounded Warriors - WS4WW. In the past, we have trained individual wounded warriors before in several locations, but we have never tried to do a whole retreat with lodging, meals, entertainment included. I feel like a bit like a wedding planner. Logistics shouldnt be that complicated for only two wounded warriors, but evidently things snowball quickly. Id like to thank everyone who helped me get this going. The smart people who helped me file forms, the determined folk who bugged others to help and donate, the people who donated $5, or bought a t-shirt, or sent us $1000. The companies that sent us free or discounted equipment. The volunteers who spent hours training our wounded warriors. Some of you started helping a few years ago, while others, I just met (as you dove head-first to help us). It is awesome to see ws4ww take on its own life- from an idea, to a reality! Thanks to all of you! -Carlos Poysky
