Im dispirited. I was supposed to have spinal injections today to help with chronic back pain that has been making me a hermit in recent months. Today I was all set, getting prepped and the Dr. hadnt done his homework regarding my bleeding condition. After speaking to my hematologist they decided it wasnt a good idea because any bleeding in my spinal column could cause serious problems including paralysis. I wish they would have consulted a month ago when the appointment was made and not today. The false hope of relief has just made me sad.
