Im extremely disappointed and disgusted by this video of a group of young black teens involved in a violent fight in the Rock n Roll McDonalds in River North. I know the people involved wont ever see this post, but they should know that because of THEM other black teens--who would never get involved in such disgusting behavior--will find it even more difficult when patronizing neighborhoods such as this. Because of this group of young black teens, their peers will have an even more difficult time finding jobs in this area and beyond. And because of the actions of these teens, their peers will be even more closely watched and possibly harassed by the police. I do hope scores of black parents see this post because its up to you to make sure this NEVER happens again--whether its downtown or in your neighborhoods. When your kids have ample time off from school, find something constructive for them to do so that this doesnt happen again. Just think about what would have happened had the police arrived in time to witness this mess. If one of them had gotten arrested, tazed or shot, there would have been public outrage from the black community. PLEASE raise responsible and intelligent young people. #rantover
