Im feeling the urge to write some poetry.I know I have a talent for it...I tend to like simple poems, with my favorite poet being Emily Dickenson. As a semi shut in like she was ,I understand her utility for making whole complex observations, something forged and melted down to a few very choice words or phrases.I will say this as a roundabout on that last sentence that, the more you know-the less you can write, for example, certain words are so passe and overused that there are acres of standing decent candidates, that get picked over and die on the vine.Fire,Death,Darkness,light,breath,god,LOVE....A story illustrates this.Pared down...A man grew up in total isolation from society, but was a great composer. One day he heard Mozart on the radio.Sad to say, from that point on,anything he made would delete Mozart like themes, and so his work suffered...
