Im feeling very gloomy, my first real vacation trip in a few years was cancelled from sudden funding problems, as I found out today I dont know when Ill get paid next. Someone said every week, another person every two weeks, they already owe me two weeks of pay so, Im pretty annoyed. At least I was paid recently. I have no supervisor, pretty much no one is ever in the home office. (I called multiple times, the home office is in houston so its not like I can just go and drive down there.) I work about 11 hours on the job, but Im not paid by the hour so its not like it means anything. I spend another 2-4 hours off the job preparing for the next day most of the time so my sleep levels are kinda all over the place. Granted I really like my job its just so time consuming, the least they could do is give us some support. I also have a feeling we wont have air conditioning most of the summer since the school turns it off when sections of the building are closed. We arent supposed to really contact the school where we work so have to go through some channel system and talk to right people about this, and despite our best efforts there is only so much we can do. I was just really looking forward to my tiny vacation. Ive had much worse conditions when working so Im mean I really like my job, it just kinda sucks sometimes. Anyway, this week I taught Unity and ended the week by showing my students how to animate rigged models through Unitys internal animator. We got a kick out of animating a dragon tiptoeing around, I dont think the model was from Skyrim but it looked like that style and was rather complex...And again, it was already rigged up, so we just had to keyframe it in Unity...
