Im getting some good questions about FPU... 1. How much does it cost? Preview class (JAN 14) is free. Materials is $93 per set, couples can share one set and attend together. 2. When and where? Its at my house in Brushy Creek in Round Rock (off 620 and Great Oaks) tentatively on WED nights at 7PM. We might decide as a group on a better time later. The whole series is 9 weeks. 3. Do I have to buy anything else? No, this is like a study group. No one will be selling any programs or anything like that. No soliciting allowed at my house! :) 4. Isnt Dave Ramsey a Christian? Yes, he is and the lessons are what he calls common sense lessons that also agree with the Bible teachings but there will be no preaching. 5. Do I have to go to all the classes? No, go to the ones you can, but the class is meant to give you some accountability and support, so you have to show up to get the benefit. I told my husband we would stop going whenever he wants, and we ended up going to all of the classes because the material were so good. 6. What are some of your favorite topics? Retirement Planning, Investing (Mutual Funds, ROTHs ans SEPs, Diversification) and Insurance. 7. Why are you facilitating this class? I have been wanting to do it for a while because it really helped me get myself out of debt and start building a future for myself that I look forward to. I WISH I had known this stuff sooner - so I tell my friends and my family about it (I had been giving away the book to people for the last few years)... AND THEN I won a teaching kit from the radio show last year and now its time to saddle up, I guess. :) 8. OK, I want to check it out. What do I do now? Just MSG me or text me and Ill let you know if there is still room. We dont want more than 4-6 people this time. 9. When will you have another class? No telling, but the plan is to TRY to do one every year. I took the class several times before the materials sank in, so this is another way for me to really absorb it. 10. Ten, ten, this is the end!
