Im getting there. Just picked up new 68 reissue deluxe reverb to go along with 62 CG, g-dec modeling amp and TC Electronics delay pedal. Already loving the tone that it gives to my attempts at Atkins style thumb picking....thumpity, thump, thump. Traded in an 85 Strat, 95 Tele and solid state Fender Princeton Chorus (that I wont miss) to help fund the purchases. Im hoping I can dial in enough of the right tone without needing an equalizer and/or compressor. Thanks to all of you who chimed in on the amp choice post a month or so ago. Lots of good input and I tried a lot of amps as a result. It came down to Vox Night Train and the Fender. One more trip to the luthier this week for new bridge and neck adjustment for 11s & Ill be out of excuses!
