Im glad........my students did a fantastic job with their MLK program.......Im sad........After all the peace, change, unity, love and happiness that was sung through the mouths of children the message didnt fully get across to some parents as a fight broke out at the end of the program........but I understand, why I became a teacher.........I became a teacher to show children and youth that our struggle here on earth is real when we ask ourselves Where is the love?........... we must be prepared to make a make a change by starting with the Man in the mirror........so that Tomorrow will bring (a better you, a better me)......Then eventually we can get to a point where we let there be peace on earth........and hopefully we can be happy..........so Ill continue to help my students lift every voice and sing because Dr. King and many others didnt die for nothing........let freedom ring...... Mind you all the songs that are in quotes were songs my students sang tonight...... On a different note, my first time wearing a bow tie to get my director swag on .......what you think
