Im going to be ridiculed for saying this. And I know this is a gear talk forum. However, nobody thats listening to a recording of you or in an audience can tell if youre using a Boss pedal or a strymon pedal. Recently saw a gigantic pedalboard and the guy hit one pedal. I mean, why bother having it if youre not going to use it? Just overkill to me. I have been wrestling a lot with spending gobs of money on things that arent going to worship in & of themselves. From a world view, its kind of foolish. I hope and pray that our desire is worship, not just a show. What I am trying to say is that compared to other worshipers, we often lose the plot. We reduce worship to the show and the production, without a meaningful encounter with Jesus. This is my main point. Not saying sell your Strymon, your Les Paul. No, not my intentions.
