Im going to have a hearse trailered from a few hours away next week. I have never done any of this before, but the company doing it makes it sound pretty easy and straight forward. A little too easy even. It is a small, local company so that may be why. They tell me they will take care of everything. Still, since the experience is vast in this forum- is there anything I should know before the time comes? Any good prep advice? What I know so far is that they have large load trailers that pull single cars- not the kind that carry multiples or just wheel hitches, etc. The size and weight of the car doesnt seem to be an issue for them. They have insurance, etc. I guess I would just like to soak up as much advice as possible to avoid shitty situations as far as preparing the car and asking questions prior to the pick up goes.
