Im going to take a moment to brag a little. Not about me. Because its not about me at all. I have a friend of mine who works for a major grocery chain. Im not going to use her name because she wouldnt want that, but I know who she is and so do a lot of you. She has worked for them for many, many years for years and has given so much to her company and to her loyal customers. So much time in fact that she never gets to use up all of her vacation and it becomes a use it or lose it situation. This is the bragging part. She donates her un-used vacation time within the company, for those who are sick, or who have family that are sick and have used up all of their vacation. Forty hours, sixty hours, whatever she chooses. Think about it for a moment. A weeks pay! Im so humbled. And proud to call her my friend. Whoever said people are no damn good or that were going to hell in a bucket sure doesnt know the same people I know
