Im hate to distract Sofia instead of being honest with her about whats going on. I want her to always trust me and have a chance to learn how to handle her emotions. That being said, I HATE the way doctors force me to hold my baby down while the scary nurse who didnt say more than 5 words to her hovers over her and sticks her with needles. This doctor was great and he even sang the Clean Up Song! I wish more doctors and nurses would take the time to establish rapport with little babies. Most just dont know how - theyre not trained in child development, theyre trained in medicine.
