Im having a bit of a conflict with myself. Do any of you think a team with Rose, Jimmy, Dunleavy, Gasol and Noah with Kirk, Taj, Snell and Nazr as reserves, is good enough to win a title this year? Because I dont. Its exactly the same team we had last year but we are expecting that Gasol will score more than the 13.7 points and 8.3 rebounds Boozer got last year. And that Rose will do better than the 15.9 points and 5 assists that DJ had last year. So unless Rose can perform Like he did when he was MVP and score 25 points, 9 assist game and Gasol can do 19 points 13 rebounds. I dont see enough upgrade for the Bulls to do better than the team that got bounced by Washington last year. The main reason I was excited about the team this year. Was the team going out and signing Mirotic, drafting McDermott, the expected growth from Snell based on how he did this summer and the signing of Brooks. But everything Ive been reading, seeing on TV or hearing on the radio is. Theyre not going to play much, if at all. In my opinion. If McDermott and Mirotic are not break out players who contribute big and Snell stays glued to the bench. Then the Bulls are still just an average team that gives 110% but gets blown away in the play offs. Come on people.Tell me how I got this all wrong. My faith is flagging fast.
